Poverty Guidelines
Use this information as income guidelines based on household size when requesting a fee waiver (Form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver) based on limited income, or a reduced filing fee when filing Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.
The secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services establishes the Federal Poverty Guidelines annually.
These income guidelines are effective beginning Jan. 17, 2024.
